The Appalachian Auto Museum showcases classic cars while preparing to launch a rental program through integrations with platforms like Turo.

The museum’s existing digital presence had gaps that limited its ability to showcase vehicles and convert interest into rentals. The logo did not scale well across digital formats, and the site lacked user-friendly browsing and filtering tools. To support growth, the museum needed a platform that could highlight its collection, integrate rental functionality, and feature core brand content like mission, history, photos, and videos.

The Appalachian Auto Museum project kicked off with a clear roadmap: a sitemap and wireframes were developed to align user flows with the Turo rental experience. The design phase introduced a fresh logo blending mountains, classic cars, and victory themes, with a bold blue-and-red palette, alongside mockups featuring streamlined navigation, filtering tools, and structured content pages — ultimately approved in prototype form. A content framework was also shared, with the client tasked to provide their mission statement and history. Development is now underway on WordPress, including Turo integration and dynamic car-to-listing links, with an estimated three-week build once all assets are finalized.
